RSS feeds?

I finally got the nnrss backend in Gnus working, so I have something I can use to read RSS feeds. I only have a couple in there now (the one for the donut.mit.edu blog and Slashdot's); are there any I might be interested in? It looks like there are a couple listings but they're not too useful just because of sheer volume and it being hard to tell if a particular feed is actually worthwhile. I'm open to suggestions for things people like, or think I might like, or even just dumps of your .meetings file or equivalent.

Date: 2004-02-19 09:34 am (UTC)Here are some feeds:
bbcnewsworld, cs_monitor, ny_times_int, salon_com, scientific_amer, theonionfeed, thestraightdope -- newsfeeds which perform in the obvious manner. (If these interest you, you might also try the community nikkinewsnet.)
blogguscaesari (the Gallic Wars rendered as a blog), phluzein (archaeological news)
shirkydotcom (infrequent essays on software and culture)
I understand that the comics feeds are very popular, but the husband's script slurps comics for me.
Of course, these are all the names of the feeds on LJ, not the feeds themselves, but you are clever enough to find that info if you care :).

Date: 2004-02-19 01:16 pm (UTC)has my current nnw lite subs, with the livejournals filtered out. Mostly tech, a lot of python stuff in particular but also space and a few other categories.
I should really do an edsc2rss :-)
