Things we have learned today

Google actually now has a published API for their Maps interface. Signing up appears to not be too evil. The "we might drop ads in someday" clause bothers me a little, but I suspect if they went forward with it they'd also block out other non-adful interfaces too.
CSS is a deep and subtle thing.
The updated bike page is here. Bonus points if you can send me a pointer to something that says how to get this looking the way I want, which is loosely "duplicating the Google Maps page layout". Right now the best I can think of is to use JavaScript to force the relevant div's height to the window's height minus the height of the top panel, but that feels rude. I just can't find something in CSS to say "this element's height can grow".
