Did ~nothing on Saturday. Went to Hall's Pond on Sunday, and followed this up with a bike ride since it stopped raining.

Trekked up through Winchester and Woburn pretty much according to plan, explored the wonders of Anderson RTC (where, it appears, they built a third track around the station pretty much so that freight trains can punt the station: a southbound passenger train can't cross over to be on the platform for track 1, but a northbound freight can cut over to track 4, go around the station, then cross back to track 1). Then kept meaning to turn around and maybe turn left towards Lexington, but not remembering where to turn. So, crossed the Haverhill commuter rail at Woburn St. in Wilmington ("if the B&M was a real railroad the grade crossings would have their name on it like everyone else does"), stopped, looked at the map again, and ultimately found a stopping point in southern Tewksbury. At which point I realized that I had gone 20 miles already, was tired, and now was riding into the wind. Oops. I did manage to come back via the west side of Horn Pond and thence via Arlington Center, at least. Net of 37 miles.

I grew up riding along the west side of Horn Pond. You probably could have seen my parents' house if you looked in the right direction at the right time.
