Last night went to see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. I thought it was a pretty good production, about a full step up (but no more) from our Hapgood run a few years ago. The concession stand was selling "Rosencrunch and Guildenpop", which I found appropriate. Didn't actually know anyone in the cast, and only recognized one name in the crew. It was a fun play, if you haven't seen it, it's not 2:00 yet, and you have the afternoon free, it's probably worth a trip out to Davis. Also ran into a fair number of people there, including a small undergrad APO mob and a larger nondescript MIT undergrad mob to our right. During the first intermission I model-railroad geeked with [livejournal.com profile] alphacygni for a bit. This didn't seem to disturb cute people or their mothers unduly.

Afterwards I stumbled into [livejournal.com profile] jadia's birthday party. I think I can put a face on [livejournal.com profile] bluepapercup now. (She's not [livejournal.com profile] 76trombones.) The pickle corset concept was...special.

...since you never get off of couches?

I was assuming something along the lines of "lack of waist-length hair to be seen" was involved. :-P

Maybe it depends on how many blankets are present? But even then I think I leave the couch eventually... at least, I don't seem to be there currently.
