Things to do
Apr. 9th, 2003 11:03 amSpent yesterday evening in SIPB working on the 6.341 project due tomorrow. And finished it, yay! The midterm kind of sucked; it took me the full two hours and the problems felt unusually hard for an exam, but I think I did okay on it. So now I'm through most of this week's hosage; I have half a problem set due Friday, which means that I can punt vicariously tonight or tomorrow. Probably punting Thursday bridge. Mmm, free time.
I just need to figure out work now. What I'm supposed to be doing, apparently, is helping people do things, not working on my own projects. Except that one person doesn't need help, and another hasn't been around. I've gotten somewhat good at thumb-twiddling and building software and exploiting job-queueing systems and that sort of thing, but none of it's really productive per se.
