Vacation: I sleep all night and I work all day

My parents seem to have decided that the thing to do while I'm in town is to cut down trees. So I've been spending some quality time with Mr. Chain Saw and Mr. Cart. And now there's about four fewer trees than a couple of days ago -- and nobody's lost any limbs, and the gas can didn't even spontaneously explode!

I always want my in-laws to come up with projects for us when we're visiting, but instead we just visit the San Diego zoo again.
(Which is also nice, mind you, but I like providing acts of service!)

I'm glad no limbs were lost. Do you actually sing the lumberjack song while you cut down trees? Because that part might be fun, for about 10 minutes. :)

No, it's much more a "please climb as far up this tree as you can, now pull on this rope so that the tree doesn't fall on things we don't want it to fall on" sort of thing, no singing. Though my parents might make a good chorus.
