Is anybody interested in doing something on Wednesday, probably alongside The Usual Plan? I'm not necessarily so interested in fireworks, but I wouldn't mind doing something in the morning. Plausible options include some kind of morning shortish (by my standards, 20-30 miles) bike plan, or an additional 4ish hour game, or committing to an 8+ hour game in the usual space.

I'm not clear what I actually feel like doing, beyond the usual constraints on what I do and don't like (for example, no proposing a six-hour Apples to Apples marathon game).

We might be, depending what actual timing you're thinking of. :) ([livejournal.com profile] fredrickegerman has a soft spot for fireworks, I was kinda fed up with the noise and crowd last year...)

"Apples to Apples: Jewish Edition"

Aieeee!

Erm, biking and/or long games both sound highly tempting. Could propose any of the ones I've got, trying Perikles again would be good. Power Grid. AoS. Die Macher. Or (dare I say it) Titan?! Really depends on who else can be convinced to sign on. :-)

If you're going biking you might try storrow. They closed it at 7:30 am betweek kenmore and leveritt, and the crowds shouldn't be bad yet. I'm going to go give it a try by myself. Up and back a few times should get you to the distance you're looking for.
