If I just wanted to look at the material, I could borrow the course notes from somebody who's taken the class before. I could probably actually learn as much by sitting down in my spare time (which goes up noticably without committments like "class") and writing a Scheme compiler, which actually might be a neat exercise; I kind of need a compiler to fool around with anyways. :-)
