I loved the pasta pads. I used them for a month before I got my computer as a frosh. And then again to dial in from the EC darkroom using an Original Hayes 1200 bps modem. And then again last year when Comcast insisted that the reason my cable modem couldn't get a lock on to the upstream carrier was because I wasn't running Windows XP. And they performed valiantly. Long live the pasta pads.
