Ski!

I went with a group of somewhat-ET people to Wachusett Mountain to go skiing yesterday. It went very well: the rain let up right around the time we arrived, there was almost no ice, and I failed to fall off the mountain. In fact, the skiing was successful: aside from one short green trail and the terrain park, I went on almost every trail that was open, including the two black diamonds. Wachusett seemed, on the whole, to be a grade easier than Wildcat Mountain; the blues we started on seemed to be on par with Wildcat's from-the-summit green trail. Other people seemed to think the blacks were even on the easy side. But in all, it was a lot of fun.

(For the uninitiated, green circles are "easy", blue squares are "intermediate", black diamonds are "hard" on standard ski trail maps.)
