Scattered thoughts

Busses, in general, deal badly with snow: even if the sidewalk is dug out, nobody ever digs out between the sidewalk and the street so you can get on the bus.
A company I've never heard of called iRiver seems to have a portable audio player I'd find interesting: MSRP of $399, 20 GB internal disk, supports Ogg Vorbis. (Best Buy had a less interesting model with 1.5 GB of storage for $299.)
Malls in December can be horrid places to be.
Somehow the D line was only running as far as Government Center tonight. Taking the one-every-15-minutes packed-solid E train from Lechmere to Haymarket was pretty bad; I went as far as Government Center in hopes that it'd be a Brattle Loop train, but no such luck. Still caught the 95 at Sullivan successfully.
The EZRide busses have this distressing tendency to go sideways while they're going forward.
