dmazeI started up my laptop here and tried to start zephyr. I discovered that my .local.vtc file was a symlink to vpc+lkcal*vpc, not vtc/local.vtc as I expected. Playing with Perl reveals that the symptom is "bit 2 of each 16-bit word is cleared". Oops. In good news, this probably means that when my laptop eats itself, 15 out of 16 bits on the hard drive are still good!
