Item one: a drawer-desk. I'm not sure if this exists, or if there's a technical term. But it's something the size of a file cabinet, that can be placed vertically between a two-drawer file cabinet and something like a small bookshelf, that has a flat surface to slide out of it. This way I can have something approximating desk space next to my computer on a temporary basis.

Item two: very small colored light source. This is for my model railroad; I want something that can show red, yellow, or green (preferably all in one unit, but in separate units can be made to be acceptable), but with the proviso that it can't be more than 1mm across. Digi-Key seems to think that LEDs come as small as just under 2mm, but at N scale, 2mm * 160 = 320mm ~= a foot across, which is really huge for signals. A source of really small bi-color LEDs would be neat; something nifty and not too expensive and maybe fiber optic could be interesting too.
