I spent most of the weekend doing ET rush. As an alum, this largely involves driving people around (no, really, if you want to visit the house or leave, the alums are happy to drive you wherever), greeting people when they show up, and doing chores like waits and potwashes and van runs to give the actives time to meet people. It's actually strangely draining for me, though I'm not really sure why. Maybe I'm being a bit attention-sinkish, except that there aren't really corresponding attention sources around.
But I did my first potwash ever (and don't regret not having done one before). I'm not a 6.170 TA, but I play one on zephyr, so I helped out
deadpuppy5 and
rhean a bit. Certain cars are trained to recognize their owners, and so hated me trying to drive them. I tried out Al Cabohne (the Bohnanza-derived game about you vs. the German Bean Mafia) and got horribly slaughtered, but another attempt might go better. And I played a cycle of Mah-Jongg on my laptop to pass the time.
