Weekend and things
Mar. 10th, 2003 10:40 amHad party on Saturday. Perhaps not as many people showed up as I would have liked, or perhaps people I was somewhat expecting didn't appear. But it was a very manageable group, and seemed to largely be free of internal psychodrama, big win. :-) The party actually wound up being lots of fun, people enjoyed themselves, most of the food went away, I had an obligatory play of Star Munchkin. (
onetwolittleb had a really impressive pile of lasers.)
Yesterday was unproductive. I read mail, tried to update my Debian xcircuit package (but was thwarted by a combination of CVS and a build problem), played lots of Master of Orion 3. Failed at laundry; I think I overfilled the washer, so some things didn't get to circulate and didn't get clean.
And today I am old. Apparently sufficiently old that my parents sent me a stack of investment books. Useful, but not the greatest conceivable present. Don't get to have dinner tonight, not sure if I want to try to arrange a lunch mob (though now I've worked myself up to go to Sam LaGrassa's...mmm, sandwich...) Housemates are good for making junk food vanish.
