Feb. 11th, 2003

Last term in 6.824, I realized that I pretty much knew everything the lecturer had to say, and given the, uh, quality of the presentation, a reasonable use of my time was to sit in the back of 6-120 and zephyr. Today in 6.341, I suddenly realized that I don't know all of the material coming in to the class, and the lecture doesn't actually suck. So while assembling pole-zero plots with MetaPost is probably a long-term productive use of time for the class, it's even better to actually listen to the lectures.
