Wasted day
Jun. 28th, 2003 07:53 pmOnce I got going today, I made plans for an elaborate biking trip with
76trombones. Packed my backpack, got lunch and extra film, came back to discover that I couldn't actually get to my bike. So instead spent the afternoon surfing the Web and playing Angband (and getting hosed by the game a lot, no, really). And now whatever it is I might have done with a not-quite-so-oppressively-hot day -- even just gone to MIT and scanned the rest of my Grand Canyon pictures -- I haven't done it.

It moved to the side of the house briefly; then the landlord offered to move it into the basement to protect it from imminent rain. Since this was right before I went to California, it sounded like a good idea. The problem is, the bike is still there, but the landlord was away today ("he has a life, imagine that"). So...
