Too much to write about, and it's getting further into the past, so let's try to cram it all together. Yeah.

Skiing, downhill, at Gunstock, near Lake Winnipesaukee. Some very nice blues down from the summit. Far enough from the highway to not be terribly crowded. Attempted a diamond on a Real Mountain and mostly didn't die; at least, I felt like it was within my abilities, but felt more social than ambitious.

People, chicken, @i(Entdecker), cake.

Skiing, cross-country, at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle. Didn't go the direction I thought we did, but we wound up going around most of it. That wound up being maybe 3-4 miles, without really hitting duplicate trails until the very end.

Found my desk! Found some papers I need to do more tax processing on. Complicated this year. Bleah.

The Internal Revenue Code is complicated. IRC 501(b) states that "an organization exempt from taxation under subsection (a)...shall be considered an organization exempt from income taxes for the purpose of any law which refers to organizations exempt from income taxes." There appear to be exactly three 501(c)(1) organizations, and one 501(c)(28), but not all 501(c) organizations are necessarily non-profit (e.g. 501(c)(23) organizations organized before 1880 for purposes of insuring veterans).
