Boylston is north of Worcester, which puts it in the same general part of the state as a lot of the other trips. In particular, the Climb to the Clouds went through there last year (see the trip map, around mile 55). A Worcester-Ayer trip could go along the east side of Wachusett Reservoir instead of the west and go through Boylston proper. (Or, we could pick up a bike trailer, and return a certain washing machine, while we're around there...)
